Dr. Lonny Douglas Meinecke is an assistant professor of psychology at Philander Smith University in Little Rock, Arkansas.Dr. Meinecke received his master's and doctorate in psychology from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. His dissertation and continuing research challenge extant scientific perspectives that overemphasize (and almost revere) human mental phenomena... because this mental favoritism often results in much less reverence for people and other living things. The purpose of his research is to promote gratitude and awe for the transitoriness of life (of every kind) - while life is briefly here.
